Rebuilding Together DC Alexandria Selected as One of 100 Organizations Receiving Grants from Lowe’s to Make Community Impact

We’re thrilled to announce we have been selected as one of 100 organizations nationwide to participate in the Lowe’s Hometowns program! With Lowe’s support, we will continue our revitalization projects with DC’s Fort Stanton Recreation Center and Community Garden.

The Lowe’s Hometowns program will complete 100 projects across the United States that rebuild areas reeling from natural disaster, repair critical housing, restore beloved community centers, and revive green spaces. The 100 Hometowns projects will span urban, rural, and suburban communities and will benefit an array of community members, from seniors to children, veterans, small business owners, students, and more.

We are so grateful for the opportunity and can’t wait to share more information about the full scope of our project, as well as updates on the kickoff, progress, and completion, so stay tuned!
