Fix It Forward
Become a recurring monthly donor by selecting “monthly” on our online donation form and keep repairs coming all year for neighbors facing a leaking roof, a broken furnace or exterior stairs that are no longer safe to use.
Corporate Partnerships

Legacy Gifts
Keep rebuilding lives for generations to come by naming Rebuilding Together DC • Alexandria in your will, or by giving through a charitable gift annuity, a charitable remainder trust, or life insurance.
IRA Gifts (Qualified Charitable Distributions)
If you are 70½ or older, you can give directly from your IRA, tax-free. Your gift isn’t counted as taxable income, and it can count toward your required minimum distribution.
Hardware Store Gift Cards
We buy the supplies for every repair, so a hardware store gift card goes straight into the lumber, plumbing parts, and handrails that make a neighbor’s home safe.
Matching Gifts
Double your impact! Many employers match their employees’ charitable gifts, so your donation could go twice as far. Ask your HR department if your company has a matching gift program.
Stock & Real Estate Gifts
Give appreciated stock, a home, or other property and avoid capital gains taxes. You may also be able to deduct its full market value, and with real estate, skip many of the costs of selling.
